Terms of sale and licence

For the data packs, bought once, and for FertRadar Pro, the yearly subscription.

Last updated: 24 October 2026

1. Who sells

FertRadar (fertradar.com) is published by Maxime Rinjard, entrepreneur individuel (EI), trade name Isohypse, 10 rue Gatelliet, 77000 Melun, France, SIREN 131 891 731 (SIRET 131 891 731 00013), contact@fertradar.com ("FertRadar", "we").

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders: Paddle.com Market Limited (London, United Kingdom), or its affiliate in the United States or Canada for buyers there. Paddle takes the order and the payment, calculates and collects the taxes due, issues the invoice and handles payment questions and disputes, under its buyer terms, which apply to the purchase itself. These FertRadar terms govern the content of the products, their delivery and the licence to use them. On the purchase (payment, tax, invoice, processing of a refund) Paddle's buyer terms prevail; on the products, the licence and the use of the data, these terms prevail.

2. The products

  • Data packs, bought once: a set of files (Excel and CSV) for a country, a product, a nutrient, a company or the producers of a segment, described on its page before purchase (sheets, years, sites, number of figures, sources, with a free sample). A pack is the data release published on the day of purchase, numbered and dated; it does not include later releases. You can download it again from your account.
  • FertRadar Pro, a yearly subscription for one person: every data pack of each monthly release, the full company base with the document and page of every figure, recent months of trade, the extract builder and the archive of the weekly news, for as long as the subscription runs.

The products are industry data and analytics. They contain no advice and no forecast; each figure names its source, and FertRadar's adjustments and estimates are labelled.

3. Who can buy

You need a FertRadar account with a confirmed e-mail address. The products are made for professional use; individuals may also buy them, as consumers, with the rights described below. We may decline an order for a legitimate reason, such as a conflict of interest, and refund it in full if it was paid.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars, excluding VAT and other sales taxes, which Paddle adds at checkout according to your country and tax status (a business with a valid VAT number may be invoiced without VAT under the reverse charge). Current prices: country pack USD 149, world product pack USD 249, company pack USD 249, world nutrient pack USD 490, producers of a segment USD 690, FertRadar Pro USD 990 a year. The price that applies is the one shown at checkout. Payment is made to Paddle, by the means offered at checkout; FertRadar never receives your card details.

5. Delivery

As soon as Paddle confirms the payment, the pack appears in your account (Workspace, Data packs) and can be downloaded, normally within a few minutes; Pro opens at once on your account. If nothing appears within an hour, write to contact@fertradar.com. We keep the files of every release sold, so that you can download what you bought again.

6. FertRadar Pro: renewal and cancellation

  • Pro renews automatically each year at the price then in force, unless you cancel. We remind you by e-mail at least 30 days before each renewal; a change of price is announced in the same way at least 30 days before it applies to you.
  • You can cancel at any time, from the link in Paddle's e-mails or by writing to contact@fertradar.com: Pro then stays open until the end of the year already paid and is not renewed.
  • Pro is for one named person. A team takes one subscription per person; Team and Enterprise licences are announced on the pricing page.

7. Licence

What you may do. On payment, FertRadar grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence, worldwide and without time limit for a pack (for the duration of the subscription for Pro data), to use the files for internal purposes: store, copy and process them on your systems for analysis, planning, research and reporting; combine them with your own data; and quote limited extracts (figures, small tables or charts that do not replace the files) in documents for your clients, auditors or financing partners, with the source "FertRadar, [pack and release], based on [original sources]". A pack bought by a person for an organisation may be used by the people of that organisation; Pro data are used by the subscriber.

What you may not do without our written agreement: sell, rent, lend, sublicense, publish or pass on the files or a substantial part of them, as they are or modified; make them available to others through a database, website, API, feed or dashboard; share the files, download links or a Pro account outside the licence; remove source, licence or attribution notices; suggest that FertRadar or a data provider endorses you or your use.

Open data stays open. Some data in the files are published by their providers under open licences or are in the public domain. Nothing here restricts your right to obtain those data from the original provider and use them under its licence; the restrictions above apply to FertRadar's selection, processing, compilations and indicators, and to the files as delivered. Where a provider's licence requires it, its terms apply to your use of its data (attribution, no endorsement; data from FAO must not be used for the promotion of a commercial enterprise).

FertRadar keeps all intellectual property rights in the products, including the database right, subject to the rights of the original providers. If the licence is breached, we may end it by written notice; you must then stop using and delete the files.

8. Quality, data errors and corrections

We compile the products with care and document our methods, but the data come from third parties and may contain errors, gaps and revisions. We undertake that the files match their description and open with standard software. A data error is a figure in the file you bought that differs from its source or from our published method (a later revision by the source is not an error). If you find one, write to us with the file, sheet and row: we confirm or explain within 10 working days, correct it in the next release and, for a pack, send you the corrected file. If we cannot, the refund policy applies.

9. Right of withdrawal for consumers

If you buy as a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may withdraw within 14 days of the purchase, unless you have started downloading or using the product within that period. By buying, you ask for immediate access to the digital content and acknowledge that you then lose your right of withdrawal (French Consumer Code, article L. 221-28, 13°). Businesses have no right of withdrawal. Refunds are described in the refund policy.

10. Liability

FertRadar is not liable for indirect loss, for any loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, opportunity or data, or for decisions taken on the basis of the data. Our total liability for a product is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply to wilful misconduct or gross negligence, to death or personal injury, or to any liability that cannot be limited by law, and they do not reduce the mandatory rights of consumers.

11. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for a failure caused by an event of force majeure as defined in article 1218 of the French Civil Code.

12. Personal data

See the privacy policy.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to an order is the one in force on the day of the order; for Pro, a change applies from the next renewal and is announced at least 30 days before.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law; the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. Before any legal action, please write to contact@fertradar.com so that we can look for an amicable solution. Between professionals, any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the courts of Melun, subject to mandatory rules of jurisdiction. Consumers may bring proceedings before the courts the law designates, including those of their place of residence.
